Steps and skips

In music, a step, or conjunct motion, is the difference in pitch between two consecutive notes of a musical scale. In other words, it is the interval between two consecutive scale degrees. Any larger interval is called a skip (also called a leap), or disjunct motion.

In the diatonic scale, a step is either a minor second (sometimes also called half step) or a major second (sometimes also called whole step), with all intervals of a minor third or larger being skips. For example, C to D (major second) is a step, whereas C to E (major third) is a skip.

More generally, a step is a smaller or narrower interval in a musical line, and a skip is a wider or larger interval with the categorization of intervals into steps and skips is determined by the tuning system and the pitch space used.

Melodic motion in which the interval between any two consecutive pitches is no more than a step, or, less strictly, where skips are rare, is called stepwise or conjunct melodic motion, as opposed to skipwise or disjunct melodic motion, characterized by frequent skips.

Itzhak Perlman

Itzhak Perlman (Hebrew: יצחק פרלמן‎; born 31 August 1945) is an Israeli-American violinist, conductor, and music teacher. Hilary Hahn

Hilary Hahn (born November 27, 1979) is an American violinist. In her career, she has performed throughout the world both as a soloist with leading orchestras and conductors and as a recitalist. She also built a reputation as a champion of contemporary music. Sremuš (divlji ili medveđi luk)

Sremuš, dar prirode, samonikli lek, začin i hrana, deluje blagotvorno kod visokog krvnog pritiska, arteroskleroze, povišenih masnoća u krvi, gripa, prehlade, bronhitisa…

Kako izgleda

Ova divlja, samonikla biljka, visine do 20cm ima dva do tri eliptična, duguljasta, tamnozelena, šiljata lista. U podzemnom delu ima tanku lukovicu bele ili žućkaste boje. Cvetovi sremuša su beli, zvonastog oblika i jako prijatnog mirisa. Listovi imaju karakterističan miris belog luka, koji se oseća dok se jede, ali ne i kasnije.

Iz lukovice u proleće izrastu listovi, koji se sakupljaju pre cvetanja (najbolje u aprilu i maju). Lukovica se bere u avgustu, pre no što biljka donese seme. Travari upozoravaju da su listovi divljeg luka slični otrovnim listovima đurđevka i mrazovca. Ako niste sigurni da ih možete razlikovati, bolje je da sremuš kupujete na pijaci ili koristite eliksir kapi od sremuša.

Sastav

Sremuš se koristi od davnina u ishrani. Stari Rimljani su verovali u njegova lekovita svojstva. Analiza njegovog sastava je pokazala da to verovanje nije bez osnova. Glavni sastojak je alin, po kome je dobio latinsko ime Allium ursinum. Sadrži vitamin C (znatno više u listovima nego u lukovici), karoten, mineralne materije, a od etarskih ulja alilsulfid, alilopolisulfid i divinilsulfid.

Delovanje

Sremuš utiče na sniženje holesterola i poboljšanje odnosa tzv. dobrog i lošeg holesterola. Povoljan odnos frakcija holesterola smanjuje arterosklerozu. Deluje sirov, mariniran, u obliku ekstrakta, ali je sasušen bezvredan. Povoljno utiče na sniženje krvnog pritiska, što sa dejstvom na holesterol, smanjuje rizik od koronarne bolesti (infarkt i angina pektoris). Alin, glavni sastojak sremuša, razvodnjava sekret u disajnim putevima, pokreće ga i olakšava iskašljavanje i pražnjenje sinusa. Olakšava disanje kod bronhitisa i astme. Povoljno deluje i kod gripa i prehlade. Primećeno je da smanjuje tegobe kod gastritisa i čira. Sastojci sremuša deluju nadražajno na sluzokožu organa za varenje. Podstiču lučenje supstanci koje štite sluzokožu. Zato ne treba da se plašite ljutog ukusa sremuša ako imate probleme sa organima za varenje. U narodu se sremuš koristi protiv glista kod dece, kod nekih bolesti jetre i migrene. Deluje protiv parazita, nekih virusa i bakterija. Povoljno utiče na normalizaciju crevne flore. Visokim sadržajem antioksidanasa utiče na jačanje imuniteta i usporavanje procesa starenja.

Mnogima neprijatan, karakterističan miris belog luka, oseća se samo dok se sremuš jede. To ga razlikuje od belog luka. Pri korišćenju kapi od sremuša, miris se oseća samo dok se piju, pogotovu ako se “speru” vodom.

Upotreba

U narodu se sremuš koristi kao salata, začin i lekovita biljka koja poboljšava opšte zdravstveno stanje organizma. Mnogi mu daju prednost u odnosu na beli luk, zato što raste po šumama, na zemljištu koje nije tretirano pesticidima. Količina alina i ostalih aktivnih supstanci se sušenjem znatno smanjuje tako da se biljka koristiti u svežem stanju ili kao vodenoalkoholni ekstrakt, koji je dostupan tokom cele godine.

Možete ga koristiti u cilju prevencije kardiovaskularnih bolesti, bolesti jetre i organa za varenje, za ublažavanje tegoba kod respiratornih bolesi i podizanje opšte otpornosti organizma. Medjutim, njime ne možete zameniti lek propisan od strane Vašeg lekara. Treba ga koristiti svakodnevno bar dve do tri nedelje.
