Dell Optiplex 745 Hangs – Spiceworks

hey Guys, I am working on a Dell OptiPlex 745 and I have found that this machine hangs up every time I try to install Windows. I have changed the memory, hard rive and reseated the proc and the issue still continues. Even tried to flash the BIOS as I know Dell has a history with that but when I boot my Bart PE by the time I navigate to the file on my thumb drive the thing hangs again. the proc is a 64bit P4 and I a wondering if that could be the problem, as I am yet to find details on the processors that t

Optiplex 745 supported memory options – General Hardware – Desktop – Dell Community

I have an optiplex 745 with 2GB of memory.I wanted to upgrade, so I used my service tag to find the correct memory for my machine and then I ordered the dell recommended memory for my machine.I got the memory but the machine won’t boot with it installed. I call tech support and they claim that they memory won’t work on my machine. I check dell.com, kingston, corsair and they all list 2GB 800Mhz memory for the optiplex 745 but when I read the docs for the 745 (every form factor) it says that it doesn’t support 2GB 800Mhz memory. Its weird dell recommends it for my machine and other companies all suggest 2GB 800Mhz for my machine. Anyone get this type of memory to work on this machine? The lady from dell recommended I exchange the 2GB for 2x1GB sticks instead, I only have 32-bit xp so I will only see 3-4GB of memory at the most.I have the latest bios 2.6.3 installed.

Backup using Rsync, Bash & Cron

Backup using Rsync, Bash & Cron I wanted to backup my home directory using rsync to a separate drive, and to make it happen automatically. I spent ages doing research into the various commands, and found everything I needed to know, but not all in the same place. While it was fun for me, others may just want to know how to do it immediately. So here goes! The rsync command Code: sudo rsync -av –progress –delete –log-file=/home/your-username/Desktop/$(date +%Y%m%d)_rsync.log –exclude “/home/your-user

Samsung Note Pro 12.2: Screen flickering problems – Page 3 – Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

Any prying tool will work, you need to work on the back cover with the LCD facing down. Pressing one by one to snap open the rear cover, you should start from the USB port first because the metal bracket will help you pry open the rear cover easier than other places, or the S Pen opening, prying open the rear cover from there also a good starting point. After open one or two you will find where to press open the locking tabs, I think one or two inches apart.

Dell m/b in a generic case? | Motherboard Forums

I have a Dell Optiplex gx260 motherboard, and a dell power supply but no Dell case to put them in. I do have a generic computer case that it will fit into and I am wondering if the single wires to the front panel can be plugged into the 34 pin plug on the Dell without to many problems. Has anyone done this? Thank you, R.R.

I know there’s lack of documentation and finding help is not easy. Here’s me. [This is not an official documentation. I don’t accept any responsibilites.] *FIRST OF ALL, you need “ROOT”. This is not optional, you must have root access of your Android. *Your device must have loop device support ( PRESS MENU BUTTON, select Status. Read the log, you will see if your device supports loop device) Okay. Here’s the tricky part. Your device is probably FAT32, and I don’t think your device’s internal storage enoug
